Freewheel Minnetonka Monday gravel/MTB rides
When: Roll at 6:30pm, every Monday year round, weather permittingWhere: Freewheel Bike Minnetonka (10750 Cedar Bend, Minnetonka, MN 55305)
Rides are 90 minutes leaving at 6:30 PM with food and beverages provided by the shop after the ride around 8 PM.

Summer Gravel ride and mountain bike ridesDistance: 10-15 miles
Pace: 10-15 mph (gravel group is more casual while mountain bike group is faster paced)
What to bring: Gravel bike (any bike you can ride on ill maintained roads is fine) or Mountain bike, helmet, head and tail lights for when the sun sets before 8PM.
Both rides are offered most weeks. Gravel ride is chill pace 10-15 miles in 90 minutes, no drop, and almost any bike will do. Mountain bike rides are faster paced and ride 4-5 miles out to Theodore Wirth or Lone Lake park and back.
Rides are canceled if weather/trails are not cooperating so check the Freewheel Strava page for updates day of.
Winter Fat Bike Rides:
Distance: 5-10ish miles on hand built singletrack, bike paths, unplowed railroad service road, frozen lakes, and sometimes the Minnehaha creek
Pace: no drop, depends on group and conditions. 5mph is normal on fatbikes
What to bring: Fat Bike (ideally with studded tires), helmet, head and tail lights, gear for the weather (gloves, buff, hat, boots, etc.).
Heavy E-fat bikes not recommended since the bike will need to be lifted over rail road tracks to reach the trails.
